Kevin Sanders, MD, PhD, is President and Owner of Sound Cancer Care, specializing in radiation therapy and diagnostic imaging for patients throughout the South Puget Sound area. After earning his medical degree, with election to AOA, as well as his doctoral degree, he pursued a brief period of research, culminating in a patent related to artificial blood substitute design.

He then followed his passion for clinical care, completing his internship and residency before relocating to the South Puget Sound in 2006, where he continues to this day providing academically minded, compassionate, patient-centered cancer care. His greatest fulfillment in the clinic is being able to shepherd patients through the fears and unknowns of a cancer diagnosis—an important first step in overcoming that diagnosis.
