GIST Research, Close to Home

Today is GIST Awareness Day, a day dedicated to raising awareness of Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors, a rare cancer that develops in the digestive tract and affects thousands of Americans each year. Because GIST is less common than many other cancers, patients and their families often have to travel far from home to access clinical research. 

We believe every patient in the South Sound deserves access to cutting-edge cancer clinical trials, including those with less common cancers like GIST. That's why we're collaborating with clinicians at Northwest Medical Specialties on an actively enrolling Phase 3 GIST clinical trial right here in our community.
