CARE patient Megan Beauchesne spoke candidly about her experience with surgery delays due to the COVID-19 pandemic and hospital overwhelm. Sadly, Megan’s experience is all too common—many overflowing hospitals are currently unable to provide the lifesaving treatments and surgeries that cancer patients desperately need to keep fighting.
Fortunately, Megan was able to undergo an essential surgery a week later! While we're celebrating this success, we're committed to advocating so that all cancer patients have access to the care they need.
