Mary first learned about CARE while on a medical mission trip to Honduras with Dr. Senecal. She joined the Board in 2013 and now serves as president.

“CARE gives HOPE! I have seen first-hand the impact it has on patients and staff. Also, it is local, we are living our mission in giving the best care possible to the South Sound. This is our community and time is precious to these patients, keeping them local is so important. I have gotten to know some of the patients over my 10 years and they are always so grateful and access to these trials has given them years to spend with family they would have never had. This is why I am involved. The doctors, staff, and administrative team are amazing.” –Mary Byrne
